The Farm

.
Son Barrina is about 60,000 m2 of flat land surrounded on all sides by a dry stone wall lined with Cyprus trees.  The farm has an excellent water well and electricity.
.

The main house construction is approx 600 m2.
In addition there is an outside kitchen with bread oven,
stables and tack room for 2 horses, a shop of 100m2,
cold room of about 75 m2 and workshop of 25 m2.

The licensed factory, used for storage and packaging of cereals, grains, nuts, beans and rice etc is about 585 m2.

In addition there is about the same covered area for storing machinery and tractors with a full basement below.  Chicken houses and 75 m2 of additional accommodation for wwoofers (willing workers on organic farms) completes the construction.

Although we have mostly citrus (orange, lemon, clementine, grapefruit) trees,

we also enjoy the fruit of many types of trees.  These include walnut and almond, peach, nectarine, apricot, plum, custard apple, quince, apple, pear, fig, olive, crab apple, avocado, nispero, mulberry and banana.  We have a strawberry garden and excellent raspberries and blackberries.  Cape gooseberries also grow in abundance.  All this in addition to the many veggies we are able to grow all year round here.

.
.
We have chicken houses in two different areas of the farm and
generally keep between 80 and 100 chickens for eggs.

With the help of some exceptional wwoofers and friends we now have a special garden where children and customers can relax or visit with each other

.
as well as a strawbale construction horse shelter

.
.
and intricately built round pen.
